Riding Llamas
Lesson of the day: if you prefer not to ride a llama, do not straddle it while restraining for a tube feeding. Just because they are kushed, calm, and sickly does not mean they won’t take you for a ride while slurping down their slurry.

Made My Day
An elderly client called to leave me a message this evening just to let me know that his little miniature mare is feeling much better after a nasty colic. I sometimes assume that no news is good news, but a positive message every now and then sure goes a long way.
Sittin on the Dam
I’ve always found it calming to be around water. I can let my mind relax and forget. I sometimes drive out of my way just to catch a view, even if I can’t stop.
